Terms of Use
Last updated: 3 November 2026
01 Parties and Scope
These terms govern the use of the DropYourTime website and services provided by Finatech Bilişim ve Danışmanlık Hizmetleri Ltd. Şti. By using the site or creating an account you accept these terms.
02 What the Service Is
DropYourTime is a calendar, results and rankings service compiled from swimming meet documents that were published openly. It is not an official source of results; it is not a service of a federation or meet organiser and does not speak for them. The rankings shown are not official rankings or record lists; rankings reflect the results currently available on DropYourTime. The official result is the document published by the meet organiser.
03 Accuracy and Corrections
We transfer data with care, but source documents or the transfer may contain mistakes, and not every meet is on the site. If you spot a mistake, use the “Report a correction” form or write to support@dropyourtime.com. We compare the report with the published document; results change only when a document supports it.
04 Free Access Principle
DropYourTime aims to make swimming data obtained from public sources freely available to everyone in turn. Public swimmer data will always remain free and freely accessible. In the future, services built on top of this data, such as value-added analyses and AI-assisted work, may be paid; any such service will be announced clearly in advance and never charged without your separate consent.
05 Account
- An account needs a valid email address, which you are asked to verify. The account is personal; keeping your sign-in details safe is your responsibility.
- During the pilot period, access to account features may be opened in small groups through a waitlist. Public pages stay open to everyone while you wait.
- You may ask to link only your own athlete profile or the profile of a swimmer you are the parent of. False statements can lead to the request being refused and the account being closed.
- We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. To close your account at any time, write to support@dropyourtime.com.
06 Acceptable Use
- Do not crawl the site with automated tools, copy data in bulk or send requests that overload the service.
- Do not try to get around security measures or into another user's account.
- Do not use data about athletes to target, harass or discriminate against people.
- Do not submit forms on someone else's behalf or with misleading information.
07 Intellectual Property
The site and its content (software, design, texts, and the selection and arrangement of information) belong to Finatech, its licensors or the relevant content providers. The DropYourTime name and logo belong to Finatech. You may quote information from the site for personal, non-commercial purposes with “Source: DropYourTime”; bulk copying, collecting data with robots or other automated means, and commercial use need our written permission.
08 Limitation of Liability
The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that the data is complete, error-free or up to date, or that the service runs without interruption. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of information on the site or for indirect damage. The owners of third-party sites are responsible for the content behind links to them. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
09 Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page. For significant changes we ask you to accept the new terms at your next sign-in.
10 Governing Law and Contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction over disputes; your right as a consumer to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts is reserved.
